Thanks Joshua! You do have red-shoulders out there, correct? I have seen that the west version is lighter in color. Either way, they are all wonderful:)
Thanks again Neil:). I'm glad you like it. I lucked out because it just got drenched in a downpour, so I'm not even sure how well it could fly at that point. Stalking is definitely a great skill, although sometimes I feel like a bull in a china shop when trying:)
Wow. Stunningly beautiful. Gotta get me a real camera. I just can't get close enough to birds to take photos like this... although I have learned how to stalk really well :-)

Beautiful. The east coast red-shoulders look almost like another raptor from the west coasters.

Christy and Rieko, thanks! Christy, I will certainly add it to the Raptor mission. Thanks for the reminder:)
Very beautiful. Very nice series.
Lucky you! That would have been a sight to see! Wonderful series!! I'd love this in the Raptor mission, Bill! ;-)
Thanks again Tom! I was quite surprised that it just sat there so calmly. I've never had that happen with any raptor.
Nice Red-shouldered! Looks like it's almost dried off.
