Description:

Large shrub, was identified as L. ovalifolia on a tag, but I'm not sure that's correct. All the photos of L. ovalifolia I see have white flowers.

Habitat:

cloudforest 1800m (6000')

Notes:

I spotted this along a path through the cloudforest in Doi Inthanon national park.

Yes, I think it's one of the coldest places in Thailand, though at the campsite, it wasn't too bad when I was there. I was expecting it to be a lot colder, but only dropped to 14C at night.

Yeah, I have been to Doi Inthanon in winter It's very cold.
