Ailanthus webworm

Atteva aurea

I found this guy hanging out on my living room wall. It resembles a corn cob with a mosaic of yellow and white kernels. Its body is yellow with shapes like white pansies going down along its back.

Beautiful find of a Alianthus moth! These guys visit my outdoor lights once every few weeks; they have the ability to give so many beautiful shots.
