Asiatic elephant

Elephas maximus

Description:

Asian elephants are highly intelligent and self-aware.They are also very wary. They are brown in colour.

Habitat:

Asian elephants inhabit grasslands, tropical evergreen forests, semi-evergreen forests, moist deciduous forests, dry deciduous forests and dry thorn forests, in addition to cultivated and secondary forests and scrublands

Notes:

These animals are highly unpredictable. They are aggressive in most parts of the world. I personally feel the Indian elephant are most aggressive in NAGARHOLE national park
