A traffic jam of reptiles. The most common turtle found in aquarium shops fish is Trachemys scripta elegans whose most striking feature is the presence of red spots on the head side

I Used to have one of these, a Red Eared Slider. That is what I know then to be called... My little dude was named Michael-Angelo. I went to check on him one morning and someone (a sick and psychotic roommate is the main suspect since he also tried to sabotage my fish, a story for another day,,,) had trapped him under the fish net in the tank under water. He Drowned :( and when I found him it was too late. He was 3 years old, and a best friend to me. R.I.P. Michael-Angelo !! Jah Bless ur soul my little dude!!
