Skunk tracks

Mephitis mephitis

Description:

Half dollar sized, with long front claws. Hind tracks look like little human footprints. Five toes in 1-3-1 grouping. Little toe on inside of foot sometimes does not register.

Habitat:

Shoreline of Lake Lewisville.

Nice! You've described those tracks in detail :-). Just an interesting tidbit (--not questioning your ID) and I didn't realize this, but there are supposedly 5 species of skunk in Texas.
