Description:

A Golden-crowned Kinglet perched sideways and upside down while foraging in the branches. These tiny birds (nearly mouse-sized, with a wingspan of 7 inches) are known for this behavior, as they search for small insects high in the trees.

Habitat:

Large oak tree in my yard, next to a wooded area & large pond.
