Description:

Small brownish to gray bird measures a mere 3.5 to 5.5 inches in length and weighs 0.16–0.32 oz. They will eat mostly insects but will eat seeds in the winter.

Habitat:

They live in scrub bush, branches, canopies. Rare do they venture to the ground.

Notes:

I see them frequently in the summer in Albuquerque, NM.
