Oenochroma vinaria (pupa)

Oenochroma vinaria

Description:

About 30mm long. Very shiny with shades of green and deep yellow/orange. A small spike on one end.

Habitat:

Blowing around on the ground in a suburban back yard.

Notes:

After spotting this moth http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/134... and discovering it was a Hakea specialist, I realised these pupae were appearing mostly under out Hakea trees. Searching for the pupae to grow out.
