I am not 100% certain I have identified this species correctly. Perhaps a King Boletus?
Found under Yellow pines
Beautiful mushroom there and a beautiful shot. Definitely not a bolete, (it has gills underneath, not pores) nor a Fly agaric though.
Why do you think this is either the Fly agaric (Amanita muscaria) or the King bolete (Boletus edulis)?
