Description:

At 8:30 a.m. in the morning, I started to walk up the stairs, that goes from the first floor to the second floor. About half way up the stairs, I spotted a small, black beetle, resting on one of the steps. The color of this beetle, was black. This beetle, was three sixteenth of an inch long. Phylum: Arthropoda Class: Insecta Order: Coleoptera ( Beetles ).

Habitat:

I spotted this beetle, resting on one of the steps, that goes from the first floor to the second floor of my house.
