Eastern cottontail(Infant)

Sylvilagus floridanus

Description:

The eastern cottontail (Sylvilagus floridanus) is a New World cottontail rabbit, a member of the family Leporidae. It is one of the most common rabbit species in North America.

Habitat:

Backyard

Notes:

This little guy was alongside another baby rabbit who ran off, this one was extremely calm and allowed me to take some close ups of him, and didn't seem too afraid of me moving things out of the way for a nice picture or two. I rarely had to use flash, but when I did, he did not seem disturbed. After I got some photos off, he ran off with his friend and seemed to be calm. Also, as a note, I used telephoto lenses for some parts, so I did not get way too close and torment the little guy.
