California Spreadwing

Archilestes californica

Spreadwing is a member of the spread-wing damselfly family. These slender damselflies, 1 1/4-2" (32-50 mm) long, have clear wings that narrow to stalks at the base. They are named for the way that their wing diverge or spread when at rest.
