Clitoria ternatea is a perennial herbaceous plant in the family Fabaceae, it's edible and are also used in Ayurvedic medicine. It's native to Tropical Asia, but have been introduced to Africa, Australia and America.

The flowers are edible and we use them to make drinks and dye the rice blue.
