Yes, the second photo makes it look a lot more like a female Brewer's Blackbird.
Liam ,any possibility that this could be a brewers black bird?

Poor thing! Possibly Avipoxvirus. Look like a Grackle, young Great-tailed, Quiscalus mexicanus nelsoni, would be my guess.
