Yellow Striped Army Worm Moth

Spodoptera ornithogalli

Description:

Photo doesn't do this moth justice, the banding was much sharper making it look like it had geometric shapes all over it's back.

Habitat:

west central ga

Notes:

not sure if it was too wet to fly. Spotted on a rainy night and it was pacing back and forth on a fence post.
