Thanks so much Brian for the ID! Do you know much about these snakes, e.g. are they aggressive and/or venomous? I read somewhere that some keelbacks even eat cane toads...? (We have quite a few of those around here.)

I am not familiar with this snake but Im sure it belongs to coloubrid family of snakes. It looks like a gray rat snake and if it is , its mildly venomous not harmful to humans but I recommend not to touch it.

Sorry, still can't figure out the ID of this snake...
And sorry, the pictures aren't very clear, but can any of you snake experts out there shed some more light? Thanks! :-)

Looks a little like our garter snakes here in the states. Definitely a colubrid, and possibly a racer or whip snake. Less than 10% of the species of snake in the Phillippines are poisonous and the colubrids are harmless, but I'm not even sure you have that group of snake there. Unfortunately, the only links I could find to snakes in your area showed the dangerous ones.

I am not Snake expert but I feel it is a Racer like Non venomous Snake.
