Description:

Bald Eagle, approximately 5 years of age.

Habitat:

typically found near lakes, rivers, reservoirs, or other large bodies of water, where fish sources are good.

Notes:

This bald eagle is in a raptor rehab center, suffering from the permanent effects of lead poisoning. She is sight-limited, so she is unable to safely fly and is unable to hunt.
