Pine warbler

Setophaga pinus

Description:

When the snowflakes came down more heavily, this warbler took a break from flying to and from the feeders to shelter as much as possible in foliage with leaves. This didn't keep all the snow off him though.

That's a little yellow fluff ball of cuteness right there. Gorgeous shots and I love the first few with a little bit of snow on its head! Thank you for sharing Maria :)

Indeed, Marta - and after days of snow, today the birds have to deal with an entire day of freezing rain. The Northern birds migrate here in winter to escape the cold but this year it followed them here.
