Baya weaver

Ploceus philippinus

Description:

Scores of nests of these bright yellow birds (the males) could be seen from a distance in the foothills of the ranges near Pushkar. It was amazing how well woven their nests were, and it was disheartening to see a few of the nests fallen to the ground, with all that meticulous weaving going waste.
