A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Agelaius tricolor, Agelaius phoeniceus, Himantopus mexicanus
A mixed flock at Lindo Lake in Lakeside, California. The Tricolored Blackbirds are the blackbirds with more yellow than red on the epaulette. The Red-winged Blackbirds are the rest of the blackbirds, and the Black-necked Stilt is, obviously, the pied bird in the middle. Tricolored Blackbirds are an endangered species.
