Thamnophis proximus proximus
long slinder snake, two dots on the top of the head orange stripe running from the head to the tail tip. Only handle snakes if you are aware of the species first and know it will not harm you there are many species of venomous snakes that look similar to non-venomous snakes and a bite is costly and sometimes even fatal.

No problem ill go add that little bit of info
Hi Kevin! Yes, it would be good to add such information to spottings as PNoah also has many younger members who are not familiar with all the needed safety precautions and we hope that the postings can also be educational. Thanks!
Are you saying i should add that into my description i will if it is needed? cause i certainly knew the species and know it will not harm me
Nice spotting, although we encourage people only to handle snakes if they are aware of the species first and know it will not harm them.
