I think pictures 1 & 4 are adults, 2 & 3 are in their 2nd year, and in pic 5 1st year on left, 2nd year on middle-right and adult extreme right. It takes Gulls 3-4 years to reach adult plumage and until then they can be difficult to identify.

Apparently they are all gulls of the same species, perhaps all in different life stages! Please excuse my mistake!
