Sitana ponticeriana
Small extremely fast lizard. Distinct diamond pattern on back. Scales dorsally are larger than ventrally. 5-8 inches in length maximum 20 cm. Very slightly built.
Likes rocky, and scrub terrain. This specimen was found at the Vedanthangal bird sanctuary on the low scrubland end of the trail system.
