The grey squirrel was introduced into the UK in the 1800s and is regarded as an invasive species Has predominantly grey fur, but it can have a brownish colour

Habitat:

Seen often in woodland, but are most abundant in mature deciduous woods; they also occur in open habitats (e.g. gardens, farmland) where trees are present
