A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Yellow-orange mushrooms, fading to cream-colored toward the cap margins. Caps convex to slightly knobbed, smooth. Stems slightly club-shaped with remnant flaring ring observed on largest individual, which had ~ 5 cm cap diameter, ~ 8 cm stem height. Some veil remnants noted on caps. A smaller individual (~ 2.5 cm cap diameter, ~ 8 cm stem height) was collected and bisected for close inspection of the gills. Gills white, close, adnexed.
Pacific Northwest suburban neighborhood.
Spotted growing in a backyard lawn. The first image is of the largest individual; the remaining images are of the smaller, collected individual.

I posted this spotting on Mushroom Observer, and it seems like visually it could be either Agrocybe pediades Fayod or Agrocybe praecox Fayod.
