Agreed. Bumblebees (and other bees in Apinae) has "spoon" modified structures in the hind legs (corbicles) where they gater pollen.
Also, this spotting should not be reported for a United States mission, given the location in Colombia. Thank you.
*Not* a bumble bee! This is something else entirely. Reminds me of a species of Andrena, but at your latitude that may not be likely, either.
