Ornithoptera euphorion
The Cairns Birdwing (Ornithoptera euphorion) is a species of birdwing butterfly endemic to northeastern Australia, and is Australia's largest endemic butterfly species. Other common names include Cooktown Birdwing and Northern Birdwing. The name Cairns in its common name is a reference to the Queensland, Australia city in the region where this butterfly is found.
This series of butterflies were spotted in a Butterfly Pavilion in Denver, Colorado, USA.

thanks martini for the ID clarification... and for shek for setting me on the right trail.
Similar. QAB is very rare and I doubt the Zoo can afford one. This is the Cairns birdwing. This is a female and doesn't bother with showy colors. This is called sexual dimorphism. The male is photographed here http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/132...
Its another form of Queen Alexandra's Birdwing ( Ornithoptera alexandrae)
