Hi Siors Caersallog. These don't look like rust-gills to me. They are too shiny and smooth on top and showing un-typical radial lines (gill markers?) on the right one. RG's would have a layer of fibrulose scales instead. In order to ID fungi from photos it's very important to see the under parts; gills, pores, stipe etc. There is usually much more information down there. Sometimes a small mirror can help if you don't want to knock one over. Happy fungi hunting !!

Gills? From this view this could be a lot of different things...
Laccaria on wood might be doubtful not to mention L, laccatta is probably an overused field guide name...
