Nuphar lutea
This lake is rightly named Lily Pad lake. It has supported these lovely yellow water lilies for over 60 years. The water lilies are edible.
This lake is located in Eastern Oregon at Anthony Lakes in the Wallowa Whitman National Forest.
About 10 years ago there was a beaver living here. The beaver damn widened the lake which had been shrinking into meadow land for many years.
