Description:

C.punctiferalis is a crambid moth that is generally found in India, Pakistan, trough south-east Asia and Australia. Their larvae is considered a pest on fruit trees.

Habitat:

Kanneliya–Dediyagala–Nakiyadeniya, dense rainforest.

Notes:

Kanneliya forest reserve was designated as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 2004 and is one of the last of the largest rainforests in Sri Lanka with Sinharaja rainforest. The rainforest house many endemic species of both flora and fauna. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kanneliya%.........
