This Merlin was feeding on a prey. it was perched on the top of this Himalayan cedar tree which is almost 100 ft tall!.it had to do a balancing act ! In one of the pictures it looks like what is a mouthful of mouse. It was occasionally cleaning it's beak off. Claws are red ,possibly soaked with blood.
