A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
gasteracantha hasselti
This spider was hanging about on its web. We never noticed it because of its bland underside but then, the wind shifted a leaf to reveal the web. We slightly rotated the leaf and saw the spider's vibrant back. The spider was triangle shaped, bright yellow and blue at the tips. It also had spikes!
The photo was taken in the Singapore American School secondary rainforest. This spider was located on a web, created between two large leaves.
