Dromedary Camel

Camelus dromedarius

Some white dromedary camels at the Ralph Mitchell Zoo. These guys are hard to get good photographs of because of the fencing. They're kept in a section of the zoo that you can actually drive through, making it akin to a safari. Dromedary camels have been domesticated for thousands of years.

Northern Africa, Middle East, and oddly Australia. Domesticated species.
