Yellow Staghorn Mushroom

Description:

Bright yellow. Tiny. Small stalk with flattened spatula-like or leaf-like top.

Habitat:

Growing on rotting wood in in the garden of the resort at Suntaley Khola. This is a remote hilly and forested area by the River Murty in the Dooars region of West Bengal, India.

Notes:

As you can make out from the date stamp, I have posted the picture upside down. These were growing laterally out of the rotting wood and I took the picture from the top...so the way I have posted the pics is the way that seemed logical to me.
