Domestic Chicken

Gallus gallus domesticus

Description:

Chicken skeletal elements, in order: femur, humerus, vertebra and a phalange and claw, more vertebrae. I found a coracoid and detached fibula in these same bushes a few months ago, they could of been from the same bird.

Habitat:

Under a sea grape bush on my college campus.

Notes:

Feral chickens wonder on campus occasionally, perhaps from a colony behind a shopping center a little down the road.
