Rabbit Foot Fern

davallia denticulata

Description:

This plant was found on top of a palm oil tree. It varies in size and it is growing on different heights. This fern had sort of serrated edges and it had many leaves growing off of it. It is an epiphyte as it grows on the tree, but doesn't hurt it. The tree provides a home to the plant so it is a +/= relationship with the fern.

Habitat:

SAS Secondary Rainforest
