Angolan Black and White Colobus

Colobus angolensis

Description:

A troop of Angola Black and White Colobus monkeys seen in Diani Beach, near Mombasa, Kenya. They are similar to the Eastern Black and White Colobus that is also found in Kenya but the patches of white fur are different, especially around the face and tail.

Habitat:

Arboreal

Notes:

Our hotel bathroom had a large window that looked out on to this tree where this troop of monkeys would hang around each day (watching us in the bathroom!).

I love the pose...reminds me of the first few lockdown days.
