Mexican Jay

Description:

Size is about the same as the Scrub Jays, but these Mexican Jays lack any markings. Blue upper parts with blue gray back. The under pars are pale gray and dingy white. Their call is different from a scrub jay. Most of these Jays fly in small flocks and their calls almost come in unison. It's a loud "weet, weet"

Habitat:

From southern Arizona to southern Texas and Mexico. As in most of the south western areas their habitat is Pine, oak and juniper.
