Jemma, I talked to the owner of that garden and he said they do eat all the fruits growing there.

Jemma, I don't know. I will check and get back to you. In that same garden the owner has papaya, jack fruit and pineapples growing, so maybe he does eat the stuff he grows.

We ate this in india. When ripe it is very delicious. Do the locals eat this?
