False Black Widow spider

Description:

Palp relatively small, may be overlooked when viewed from above. Prosoma dark brown to black. Legs yellow-brown, coxa, trochanter and patella darker, the other segments dark apically. Opisthosoma black, with a whitish band around the front, and a strongly dentate, median longitudinal band, ventrally dark brown, with red-brown markings. The pictured male was found inside my house, he was captured and then released unharmed back in the wild. Spotted in Volos city, Greece.
