Mourning Cloak Butterfly caterpillar

A beautiful caterpillar....

I did see one mourning cloak butterfly.There were a good amount of Checker spots.

Nice find! I would guess, however, that it is a mourning cloak caterpillar, not an Edith checkerspot. They are pretty similar, but if you just search and compare them on google images you can see some differences.
