Hogfish

Description:

The hogfish come in an array of colors, but this one is white with its snout and forehead being a light grey. The hogfish has an elongated about, making it look almost “pig-like”.

Habitat:

Hogfish are located and live in the Tropical Western Atlantic, Nova Scotia to Northern Southern South America

Notes:

Hogfish usually grow up to 3 feet in length. They are also one of the few fish that are all born female and transition to make later in their life
