Long-legged Fly

Description:

A metallic green and bronze Long-legged fly of about 5 mm in length. The wings are softly patterned in black. These are usually nervous and quick to fly. Most are predators. Family Dolichopodidae.

Habitat:

Forest trail along the San Vicente River, Chiflón Waterfall Park, Chiapas, Mexico.
