Stoat or Short-tailed weasel

Mustela erminea

Description:

Long and white like a weasel or a mink. It is winter here so his coat is white for camouflage. They have a black tail tip.

Habitat:

Mixed wood forest (Laurentian Mountains) in quebec.

Notes:

It has been a very hard winter this year so I was gladdened to see that there were survivors out there, they had come for some butchered deer remains that a farmer threw in the bush because of the cold winter

What ever they were, they were gorgeous, my family has lived in these woods 20+ years and I've never seen them. A great day!

Ok, never mind. I looked into it more, and it has white feet so that would make it a stoat

After seeing DanielePralong suggestions, it could be a stoat (aka short-tailed weasel/ermine). Its hard to tell, because they're pretty similar in their winter coat.
