Description:

Medium-sized raptor with distinctive head shape. It was perched on the top of a tall pylon on the side of the valley, and on the opposite side of the valley was another raptor in a similar place, similar size and build, probably its mate.

Habitat:

River valley.

Head shape and chest markings match up with Short-toed Eagle. Peregrines have longer primary projection and a smaller head; juveniles are streaked below.
