Description:

Family: Erebidae, Subfamily: Arctiinae, Tribe: Lithosiini. Small and common but strikingly colorful lichen moth. Nocturnal visiting my light. TL 15-21 mm. Lead gray FW with wide scarlet border and shading along central veins. Thorax and head are also red. Hosts: Tree lichen

Habitat:

Near woodlands and meadows

Notes:

Yes, it is this red... no enhancement. Flash photography at night.
