Scilla lilio-hyacinthus
Small star-like blue flowers 5-15 centimetres in height. It is perennial. Very common from April to June, it has narrow and ribbed 2-7 leaves, its violet-blue flowers with six petals, they are scentless and are found in a cluster crowning a short and straight stem that is born from a small bulb. It grows from a bulb which is 10-15 millimetres across and ovoid in shape. The seeds are ovoid and black.
