Hedriodiscus truquii
This fly was the most colorful fly i had ever seen in this area. The wings were black but the head and abdomen had a bright teal with black. The fly was resting on a pillar. This specimen is not really known alot and is found more west.
Resting on a pillar
Probably a female carrying eggs because of the size and the swollen abdomen. It was one of the most beautiful flies i had ever seen.
