Little Hermit, Stripe-throated Hermit

Phaethornis striigularis

Description:

It measures 9 cm. and weighs 2.6 grams. It is a very small hermit with striking facial lists, slightly curved beak down and lit colored lower region, has a long tail. This is a chick on the nest, build on the tip of a palm leaf.

Habitat:

rainforest

By the way a hermit is a Hummingbird.
